Required competence and experience:
- MSc or PhD in Engineering, Neuroengineering or related discipline with at least 5 to 10 years of work experience in an industrial setting or experience in translational, academic-industrial partnerships
- Experience with medical devices with an electrophysiological aspect is a must
- Experience with neurotechnologies is a plus (neurosensing/neuromodulation)
- Experience in technical project management, with a focus on delivering results while meeting budgets and timelines
- Proven technical leadership skills, and ability to coordinate the activities of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in design and development of medical devices, including verification and validation activities
- Experience with risk management process, familiarity with tools such as FMEA
- Experience with ISO 13485, with European regulations (e.g. MDR), and FDA regulations and guidance
- Familiarity with Class III medical device development is a plus
- Ability to build and maintain the technical documentation of a medical device system
- Strong English communication, written and spoken; French is a plus
- Open-minded team player, creative, with a positive mindset
- Solution-oriented, reliable problem solver, and stress resistant
- Fast learner, enthusiastic, curious with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Up to 20% travel expected (post Covid)
