This is a full time position involving teaching at the bachelor, master and post-graduate levels as well as supervising master's and doctoral theses. The incumbent will be called upon to develop national and international research in the field of the position and to obtain external funding.

Job Description

He/she will be responsible for management and organizational tasks at the level of the Psychology Section and the Faculty. This position is open within the framework of the NCCR Evolving Laguage where the incumbent is expected to participate in the development of the research axes.

This is a full time position. Duties include teaching at bachelor, graduate and post-graduate levels in the field of cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology of language, as well as the direction of master's and doctoral theses. The successful candidate will be required to develop a research program at a national and international level in the domain of the offered position and to obtain external funding. She/He will also participate in administrative duties at the level of the Section of Psychology and the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences.  This position is part of the NCCR Evolving language to which it is expected that the candidate will actively contribute.


Required profile

Title required: University doctorate in psychology, cognitive or developmental science,
neuroscience or equivalent.

PhD in neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or equivalent.

The successful candidate will have proven research experience in the domain of the neuroscience of language, certified by scientific publications, and preferably previous experience in research funding. She/He will also have some experience in teaching university courses in the field of cognitive neuroscience of language, and in supervising students (Master's level and/or PhD).
