Can doing good also be good business?
Can doing good also be good business? Join us for the next session of the Bridging the Digital Divide event series at the Giga Connectivity Center.
Organized in collaboration with the Geneva Research Lab for Digital Impact (GRL), the Geneva Innovation Movement Association (GIM) and UNICEF’s Digital Impact Division, this event will explore how technology-enabled business models can deliver both social impact and financial sustainability. Across sectors such as healthcare, insurance, financial services, and connectivity, organizations are developing innovative approaches to reach underserved communities where traditional market models often fall short. Through partnerships, financing mechanisms, and new technologies, they are building solutions that aim to be both impactful and commercially viable.
Bringing together voices from business, international organizations, academia, and the innovation ecosystem, the discussion will examine when impact-driven initiatives succeed commercially, where they still require external support, and what lessons can be transferred across sectors.
