Fabrice Teroni is associate professor in the Philosophy Department of the University of Geneva and project leader at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (SCAS).

Fabrice Teroni’s main areas of research are in the philosophy of mind and epistemology, with a strong interest in emotions, memory and perception. His recent research, conducted within Thumos - the Genevan research group on emotions, values ​​and norms - focuses on the general theory of emotions, emotions generated by fiction, and the nature of remembering.

He is currently leading, alone or with Prof. Julien Deonna, two research projects : the first on the analysis of rationality in terms of knowledge, the second on negative emotions and well-being.
