Pro Juventute Genève

Pro Juventute Genève is in charge of organizing the 2018 edition of Passeport-Vacances, a program for young people born between 2003 and 2008.

 

Proposed activities include: "The mysteries of the brain" and "How to build and program a robot". These initiatives are organized by the EPFL Science Outreach Department and will be held at Campus Biotech on July 19th.

 

The mysteries of the brain

 

Thursday July 19th 09:00 - 12:00

 

Through a number of experiments that you will lead, you will discover the mysteries of the brain in a playful and accessible way. You will learn how it works, how to take care of it, and you will build your own optical illusion!

How to build and program a robot

 

Thursday July 19th 13:30 - 16:30

 

You will build a LEGO Mindstorms robot and you will discover how the robot sees the world with its sensors, then you will program it with simple language so that it moves, communicates, or even avoids obstacles!
