The team

Experimental philosophy is the attempt at making progress on traditional philosophical questions by using the empirical methods from cognitive and social sciences. Created in 2019, Empeiria is a research laboratory dedicated to the development of experimental philosophy in Switzerland, through the study of topics such as morality, aesthetic experience, everyday conceptions of free will and the meaning of life.
