The NCCR Evolving language started on 1 June 2020 and has set itself the goal of studying language development more broadly than any other research centre to date. To do so, it relies on an interdisciplinary research method combining the humanities with biology, neuroscience, psychology and computational science.
While the pandemic prevents the holding of a long-planned festive inauguration of the NCCR "Evolving Language", the directors would like to invite everybody interested to an online information event on January 22nd, 2021, 4-5 pm. The directors will present the project, explain their larger scientific vision and discuss long-term plans. The presentation will be in English, followed by a Q&A session.
