IMSG Research Day “Acting in the face of violence: When the company holds up a mirror to society”
Today, violence seems omnipresent, imposing itself on us in various forms and in all aspects of social life. Whether we’re talking about economic crises, social fractures, technological change or geopolitical upheavals, everything seems to bring us back to violence. Far from being confined to the public arena or the individual sphere, violence also infiltrates the workplace, where it manifests itself in harassment, discrimination and interpersonal conflict.
This research day is part of this reflection. It aims to mobilize interdisciplinary perspectives to explore the centrality of violence in our societies and its repercussions in organizations. By analyzing its sacred, symbolic and organizational aspects, it aims to offer concrete, innovative solutions to help companies meet the challenges of a changing world.
