“The Innovation Debate”, Thursday 2 November 2023

Dear GSEM, let’s bring back exciting debates! 

The Center for Innovation & Partnerships at UNIGE and the Geneva Innovation Movement proudly introduce a new annual series “The Innovation Debate”! 

This year’s event is co-hosted by INSEAD's Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society. 

Four high-level managers from across sectors debate difficult organizational innovation questions. 

Join us Thursday 2 November 2023, 17:30 – 19:30 at Campus Biotech' H8 Auditorium for this unprecedented event in Geneva.

The 2023 motion to be debated: 

“Innovation initiatives that originate in large organizations ought to be retained within the overall structure of the organization itself.”

 Speaking for the motion: 

• Cynthia Hansen, Managing Director of the Innovation Foundation - the Adecco Group 
• Massimo Gentile, CTO of the Geneva Airport

 Speaking against the motion: 

• Pradeep Kakkattil, Co-founder of the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx), born at UNAIDS
• Susanne Emonet, CEO of Farmer Connect, born at Sucafina

The evening will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Tina Ambos, with input from Prof Dr. Felipe Monteiro (INSEAD), Prof. Dr. Gilbert Probst (UNIGE) and Dr. Katherine Tatarinov (UNIL)

We will close the evening with an opportunity to network with refreshments.
