Dear Members of the Campus Biotech Community,
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Director, Dr Nicolas Durand, who will be joining us to lead the Fondation Campus Biotech starting 1st March 2024. With an extensive background in nanotechnologies applied to life sciences, Dr Durand brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will undoubtedly steer us towards continued success and growth. Dr Durand is currently CEO at Abionic SA, a company that he founded 14 years ago. In addition, he is Board Member of Economiesuisse and of the Chambre Vaudoise du Commerce et de l’Industrie. In the wake of the transition period, the top priority of the Foundation Council and the Management remains to ensure the continuity of our mission and our work in supporting the research teams and start-ups at Campus Biotech.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Nicolas Durand who begins this new chapter with us. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead under his leadership.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our warmest thanks to Adrien Lawrence, who will remain as interim director of the FCBG until March 31, 2024, continuing the excellent work he has accomplished since taking up his position on campus, while allowing a one-month transition period with Nicolas Durand.
